Governing Team

The organization is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors, periodically elected. The day to day affairs are managed by an Executive Director (ED) who is appointed by the Board of Directors. In addition, an Internal Audit Committee, which is accountable to Board of Directors (BoD) is in place for financial compliance and monitoring.



Mr. Janardan Sharma Paudel (M.A, Acharya )

Holds a Masters of Arts in Nepali and “Acharya” in Astronomy. He has served several years as a chief district officer and joint secretary in Nepal government’s administrative services. He has also worked as Lecturer.



Mr. Shiva Prasad Devkota (M.A. Economics)

More than 25 years of professional experience in micro enterprise development, socio-economic Research, entrepreneurship and training.



Mr. Bharat Acharya (B.A. Economics)

More than 25 years of professional experience in banking, accounting and development sector.


Ms. Sophiya Acharya

20 years of involvement as an academician at Tribhuvan University, Nepal.



Mr. Upendra Bahadur Karki (M.A. Economics)

More than 30 years of banking experience, rural microfinance, administration, compliance and rural development. He has also assumed leadership role at a commercial bank.



Mr. Rakesh Kumar Mallik (B.Sc. Enigneering)

More than 15 years experience in civil engineering, program development and implementation, particularly in  water and sanitation.


Dr. Nirmala Devi Bhatta

More than 18 years of experience as an academician and researcher.
