Women Literacy Classes in Uttarganga VDC Surkhet and Thangpaldhhap VDC Sindhupalchok district (Jan to Jun 1994)

This was the first project implemented by DEPROSC-Nepal in the field in January 1994 in Uttarganga VDC of Surkhet and Thangpal Dhhap VDC of Sindhupalchok district. The program was financially assisted by PACT Nepal.

The objective of this program was to conduct woman literacy classes in those two VDCs.

By the end of the project in june 1994, 476 women became literate after successfully completing the course. Total 500 women had enrolled in the class.
