DEPROSC Nepal has recently signed a project cooperation agreement with UNICEF Nepal to implement Handwashing and Point of Use Water Treatment Promotion initiative (HAPPI) in six districts of western Nepal. The project will be implemented in 64 VDCs of six districts namely Dolpa, Humla, Jajarkot, Jumla, Kalikot and Rukum districts till June 2008. The total budget of the project is NRS 9,381,829.00 (US $ 148,918).
